Blue Acres is a family-owned and operated blueberry farm, serving the Placer and Sacramento County areas through local Certified Farmers' Markets, and on-farm sales on weekend afternoons. Our parcel has ideal soil and growing conditions. Blueberry bushes fully mature at about six years, and our plants vary in age from 1 1/2 years to over 5 years. We currently cultivate a total of 750 bushes, of which about 400 are in production.

     All of our blueberries are grown only with natural fertilizers, mulches, and soil conditioners,  in order to produce as natural and healthy a crop as possible.
